Mission: Taiwan |
Trip Dates: July 6-16Sign-Up Deadline: February 15th I am excited about our overseas mission trip to Taiwan. Ron West has been emailing me some of the details and he is looking forward to working with us. This is a significant trip in the life of our church. I have looked back and not found any trip that our church has organized overseas. Ron plans on us working with children, assisting in an English camp, and doing outreach. The English camp is an experience where we work with Taiwanese to help them practice speaking English. We also will have opportunities to share our faith as we help them practice. Ron will aso take us around and show us all the places where he started and facilitated ministries over the years. Those who are planning to go on the trip should be turning in $100 a month per person. This started in October which means they will have paid $500 per person by February 15 as we will be purchasing plane tickets around that time. The total commitment will be around $1,000 a person. The second half of the payment of $500 will be due June 15. Please be in prayer for this trip and pray about going and ministering in Taiwan. I believe God is using this experience to encourage Ron and Elinda West and help our church to continue moving forward in being obedient to the Great Commission. Bro. Doug |

What is Angel Food Ministries? Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 35 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.

GO Ministry |
Jesus tells the church to "Go, into all the world and make disciples." That is what FBC is doing. GO Ministry teams intentionally go door to door and attempt to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. We hope to reach every person in Booneville with the Gospel. On the first and third Sundays of every month GO Ministry team members meet at 4:15 pm. We fan out across our city to conduct a Spiritual Interest Survey and seek opportunities to share Christ's love. We are trusting God will "add to the church, those who are being saved." Join us in fulfilling the Great Commission and helping others find faith in Jesus. |
